While I promise to be back to posting regular Step-by-Steps within the next few weeks, I thought I’d kick off the year per usual by posting a new species list for the coming year.
While last year’s 46 species marked a bit of a dip from the 57 recorded in 2022, it was a year of firsts as I checked off a significant number of new species and saw my Life List reach 100! Still, it didn’t prove up to the competition as I found myself placing 2nd in both the RSFF Jambalaya Challenge and KFF Mixed Bag contests.
With that in mind, I’m refocusing my efforts this year on breaking the 60 species mark, and, if luck allows, will hopefully see my life list continue to grow in the process.
Be sure to check back throughout the year to see how I do.
Happy New Year!
Tight Lines,
Chris
